Why is shipping so expensive and is there a discount?
If you choose any shipping method other than FedEx Ground, 25% of the total shipping cost will be taken off your order. This will be calculated after the order is placed. During the Summer months when the temperature is very high, it is difficult to ship to all of the US FedEx Ground. We do everything we can to help keep the shipping charges as low as possible. How do you deal with shipping in the Summer?
Shipping in the Summer heat is no problem. We use very well insulated shipping boxes as well as ice packs if needed. There will be a $10 additional charge for this service. We will also not be able to ship FedEx Ground to all states. We will do a price comparison with USPS Priotiry Mail (2 to 3 day service) versus FedEx services other than ground (usually the least expensive) to see if we can get the shipping costs down and still to you in 2 to 3 days.
How do I know what my finished produce will look like?
We will send you an electronic proof for your approval prior to shipping. This makse sure you like what you are getting and you can proof the spelling.
Is it really Ink used to print on the Chocolate? Can I eat it?
Yes, the entire chocolate piece, image and all is completely edible. The image is printed with FDA approved food coloring.
Is there a Minimum # of items I have to order? Can I just order one of something?
Each product has it own minimum order. Please check the item you want to order to determine what the minimum is.
What is set-up fee?
We charge a one time set up fee on some items to make sure the artwork is ready to be printed to produce the best possible results.
Do I have to order on line or can I call in my order?
No, you do not have to order online. We encourage online ordering as our site is user friendly and we take extensive measures to ensure Privacy when ordering on our site; but you also have the option to phone in your order 562.690.5006, email your order to sales@ImagesPrintedOnChocolate.com.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, checks and cash. A service fee of $25.00 will be billed for returned checks.
What type of chocolate do you use for your Items?
Most of our products are offered in dark and milk chocolate. Our truffles are a delicious belgian chocolate and our Dark Chcolate is pareve and can be certified Kosher.
Do you ship your items or are you just local?
We ship anywhere in the US or Canada. When ordering online, shipping charges will automatically be calculated into the total amount due for your order.
How much notice do you need to complete an order?
The typical lead time is 5 to 10 business days depending on what you order and if it is milk or dark chocolate. We do not stock a lot of dark chocolate since it is not that popular. If you need a rush order please call and we can most likely accomodate your requirements. You can call 562.690.5006.
Can you ship chocolate when the weather is warm?
Yes, we do have insulated shipping boxes and ice packs that could require a $10 fee for each insulated shipping package.
What is the best file format for the image?
If you are having a logo printed on chocolate, the best format is EPS. If it is a photo a jpeg will work. The better the photo the better the result. A 300 DPI photo works best.
What is the quality of the image on the chocolate?
The quality of the image on the chocolate depends a lot on the quality of the file we get the image from. We are also printing on candy, not photo quality paper so the result might on always be 100% perfect. We do make every effort to get the resulting printed image the best we can make it.
